Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre launched a community campaign to promote sustainable reading, featuring 1,700 events and collaborations with 100 organizations.
The first phase began on February 27, 2025, and will continue through the first half of the year.
The campaign was launched at the Louvre Abu Dhabi and will take place across the UAE to reinforce the presence of the Arabic language, foster a culture of reading, and align with the UAE’s ‘Year of Community’ initiative.
Through a diverse program including reading clubs, workshops, discussions, storytelling, AI-driven initiatives, and literary partnerships. The campaign will engage 50,000 participants from schools, universities, and public institutions.
This initiative reflects ALC’s commitment to making reading an integral part of community identity, supporting intellectual development, and preserving Arabic heritage.
